Hi friends,

I wrote in my journal in August of this year a Psalm to the Lord, inspired by a prompt from Graham Cooke, who I listen to.

And I reread it today “randomly” and felt led to share it with y’all publicly.  I have never considered myself to be creative or poetic but I humbly present my heart to you.

Thank you Lord for my community

For how you’re moving in my life

For your purposes, which are greater than me

But yet, I get to be a part of them

For your Abundant, exceedingly more than I can ask for or imagine Provision

For Who you are – steadfast in love, bestower of grace, kind and patient with me, Lover of my soul, Pursuer to the end, Beautiful, all-consuming in your love for me, Giver of all good gifts, Father who adores me

I know that you are well-pleased with me

I am because you are. You are the Great I AM.

And you choose to dwell in me. What a profound and amazing mystery!

Christ in me, the Hope of Glory

I get to love you and share your never-ending Abundant, cup-overflowing love with the world

To take back territory from the Enemy

To get my inheritance- people who know you and have true relationship with you

As I’m discipled, I disciple – to the ends of the earth

Your Kingdom come on earth as it is in heaven

What a joy! A privilege!

To partner with the Most High to accomplish your will on the earth

To love others as you love me

To give up everything for you

Because I can’t lose. You already won the war. And you’re redeeming everything and everyone.

It’s about relationship

The Divine Trinity in perfect self-sacrificing community: sharing that perfect unity of love with the world – with humans, the Crown of creation.

You created us to rule, benevolently and justly

The Kingdom is here

The King of Kings is on the throne, forever He reigns

And we, His ambassadors, have authority to colonize the earth with His love

To activate the Spirit within each one, created in His image. Good at the core.

You lived and died for us because you love us

Because you call us worthy

God saw all He created and He declared it GOOD.

We are set free from bondage – new creations

The old is gone; the new has come

You, my dear, were born to be loved

You are loved.

You are love.

Because the God of Love is in you.

Love is in you.

Love is you.

We experience His love to give it away

Like a running river, we cannot keep it for ourselves

We must pass it on to others

Spill out what’s bubbling up from inside

A love this good cannot be contained

It springs up from within and waters everything around it

Dead, dry plants come to life

Hearts of stone become flesh

The Broken are made whole

The Sick are healed

The Forgotten are seen

The Blind receive sight

The Captives are set free

In this Kingdom, the King came to serve and lay His life down for His people

And He expects His citizens to do the same

We are given authority and power so that we can make earth look like heaven

And multiply His love to the ends of the earth

To restore His family back and solidify our identities

Sons and Daughters of the King of Kings

Loved to love

Freed to free

Healed to heal

The Divine and Man partnering together

So that the Kingdom of Heaven is established on earth

And all His children know that they know that they know that they are loved.

**This poem is dedicated with love to my beautiful Miracle Meghan. For in her grad teaching at G42 one year ago this month, she had us write a poem from a prompt she gave us and I felt and was more poetic in that 10 minutes of writing than I’ve ever been in my whole life because she IS poetry and acceptance and peace and it just flowed out of my heart in her presence.

Meghan: I love you and I miss you. Declaring full healing and restoration over you until it’s no longer a prayer but a reality. Love you always beautiful one.
